Year 4 know how to 'Be Safe'

28th April 2016
Pupils at Eastlea Primary School will not tolerate bullying at their school. There have been a number of initiatives this year including friendship week and buddy stations but this week saw their Year 4 children achieve their Anti-Bullying / Stay Safe Award.

David Burns from ‘Be Safe’ led a range of interactive workshops covering various issues including cyber bullying and how to stay safe in the modern world. “This was an invaluable opportunity for the children to be reminded of the dangers associated with the internet and the strategies discussed will help the children stay safe online. The children really enjoyed the workshop and were inspired to put into practice some of the advice offered to them”, said Mrs Powells, Year 4 teacher.
