Our Autumn term MATHS award winners were very proud of their certificates - well done to them all.
Miss Fox presented a range of awards for TTRS - recognising improved accuracy, speed, effort and correct answers. Brilliant!

Our half term ended with a spooky Halloween Golden Day...great fun!!
Our Hike for Harvest was a huge success. It was lovely seeing the children out enjoying their local environment.
Our Key Stage 2 children joined Councillors Dunbar in a litter pick of Eastfield Park.
Our Year 6 School Sports Organising Crew attended their training at Newbiggin Leisure Centre. They have some fabulous ideas.
We thoroughly enjoyed learning how to scooter properly and even managed some tricks!
Key Stage 1 took to their wheels to take part in their sponsored wheelie challenge.
Our Reception and Nursery children completed their 'wheelie' event around the school playground. Everyone really enjoyed taking part.
Year 3 and 4 took to their bikes and scooters to complete their sponsored challenge around Northburn Park.
Year 5 and 6 took part in their Bike and Hike challenge. They chose to either bike or hike down to Blyth Beach.
Our Year 6 children took part in a Multi-skills festival at the CLV with pupils from other primary schools. We had excellent feedback.
Our Year 6 Sports Leaders did an amazing job leading the KS1 Playground Festival. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed playing the different games.
We have enjoyed trying the new sport of axe throwing.
Reception and Year 2 enjoyed playing a range of different playground games with Gemma from our local Sainsburys.
Our Reception children really enjoyed working with Gemma from Sainsburys making healthy fruit cones.
Our Brainwave Team welcomed everyone to school during Walk to School Week giving stickers to all children who had an active start to their day.
Year 1 to Year 6 really enjoyed the acrobatics
We took part in circus skills workshops and even did some acrobatics

Our Disney Reading Challenge was a huge success...we had our highest total of bronze, silver and gold award winners...
...and 132 CHAMPION READERS had balloons presented at a special assembly!
Our Leavers celebration for Y6 had to be brought inside due to the weather...
... but they still entertained us brilliantly. Well done and good luck to our Y6 Leavers.

Our Vex Go Robotics team represented the school really well at the Nissan competition today. Lots of skilful computing work in evidence!
