What a super range of costumes and outfits we had for our Halloween Golden Day!
Each year group enjoyed a whole range of games and activities in their class bubble.

So many families joined in with our Active October 'Bling your bike/scooter day'...it was great to see everyone having fun!

Our Harvest Welly Walk was great fun - thank you for all the Cramlington Foodbank donations.
This week as part of Active October we encouraged everyone to come to school by bike or scooter if they could...

We all enjoyed the DANCE BLAST sessions which helped us to launch our Active October challenges.

WELL DONE to all our 'music makers' at Eastlea. We were very proud to be nominated as Music Mark School for 2020-2021.
Our new Year 5 Brainwaves were very pleased to get their school council badges following a 'virtual' election!
Well done to the Year 6's too! I think we have a very good team this year.

Hula hooping was enjoyed by every year group on our Sport Relief Day...
Part of our Sport Relief Day involved planting trees near the local playing fields.
Councillors Christine and Norman Dunbar were on hand to help the children an rewarded them with medals and bubbles at the end of the day!
We also enjoyed a cricket taster session for Y1/Y2/Y3...
...and football led by Mr Rhodes!
Well done to our KS2 singers who took part in a vocal workshop for the Nor Fest Music festival at the weekend.
We loved our 'cosy' World Book Day - with a book at bedtime theme!
Our Year 6 hockey team played well at the school games tournament!
Year 5 and Year 6 went on a new visit to explore Newcastle - the quayside and the Laing art gallery.
Well done to Year 3 - they had a fantastic morning at their Hula Hooping festival.
Year 2 came back with big smiles from their visit to the castle at Newcastle as part of their class topic work!
We had a red/pink theme for our Valentine's Golden Day on 14th February...
...we all tried lots of activities, including some Year 6 cake baking!
Our first fish have now been added to the Year 2 tank - we got them from Dobbies garden centre.
We celebrated the Chinese New Year in style - with class based activities and a super lunch! See the gallery for more pictures.
We were pleased to support Cramlington's 'Denim for Dementia' day...coordinated by the Town Mayor, Loraine de Simone.
Loraine came to talk to the children earlier in the week to explain how important the funds would be to the Alzheimer's Society.
We were delighted to welcome The Duchess of Northumberland to raise our new school flag!
'Lisa's Littl'uns' radio presenter visited Eastlea and spoke to our very own 'radio stars'!!
Our Eastlea election run by Brainwaves using REAL ballot papers, polling booths and ballot box was a great success!
The smiling faces of our Year 4 litter pickers who worked with local Councillors to help clean up their local area.
Our 3 'sporting stars' represented Eastlea brilliantly at the celebration event at St James' Park! There are photos in the gallery!
Huge Congratulations to our girls football team who won the school Games SHIELD competition!!

We were again invited to the LOVE Northumberland Awards event this year - and were proud to be joint runners up for the Best Children's Project!
