Our annual Christmas Fair on Thursday 6th December was very well supported as always - £1601.80 raised in total...THANK YOU!
Year 6 prepared, served and entertained their parents, grandparents and governors with a magnificent Festive Lunch. Well done!

Our Remembrance week culminated in a poppy trail and a visit from local Councillors and a representative from the British Legion
Each class helped to make poppies which we used to decorate the outside areas of Eastlea - well done to all!

...each class had the chance to be involved and several children bought their own hoops to take home.

Despite the drizzle, everyone managed to complete the fundraising 'welly walk' on Wednesday 3rd October for Farm Africa!

We were treated to an afternoon performance of the 'Secret Garden' by the M&M theatre company.
Our KS1 lunchtime ballet club proved to be really popular!
The new Brainwaves got straight into 'fundraising action' and collected £65 for their popular 'crisp day' event!
Congratulations to all of our 'Mischief Makers' - 28 children completed the summer holiday library reading challenge!

Eastlea won a LOVE Northumberland award for 2017-18. We went to Alnwick Gardens for the presentation and met the Duchess of Northumberland.
Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a Tour de France workshop led by Mme Taylor - it involved a SLOW bike race!!

Year 2 did a project to help celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS.
Their poetry and art work is in pride of place in Cramlington hospital and looks fantastic!!

Our Music Play Day event at CLV was great fun - we took part in percussion workshops...

We raised £320 at our summer fundraising disco - to help with our plans to improve the front entrance area of the school.
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Segedunum. They learned a great deal about the Romans.
Our May Golden Day had a 'medley' of themes - pirates, secret agents, Romans, Vikings, Ancient Greece and Brazil!
A large group of pupils, parents, staff and ex pupils/families took part in the annual Children's Cancer Run.
To celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle our cook prepared cupcakes for pudding with union jack flags! Thank you!
Our outside reading area is proving popular at breaks and lunchtimes - its great to enjoy books in the sunshine!
