Our SUPERHERO Brainwaves presented stickers to any who had walked, biked or scootered to school!
Each morning they were there for the first of our Active October weeks...whatever the weather!
The Brainwaves also asked for archery sessions to launch our active month - each class took part.
Year 3 and Year 2 took part in a HOOPSTARZ workshop too...
WEEK TWO had a BE BRIGHT BE SAFE theme...
The glow stick dance sessions went down really well!!
On Wednesday we had a dress up day with a 'Be bright' theme!
This meant that our 'Be bright walk for Harvest' was very colourful indeed.
Children (and staff) from across the school took part.
Each class made a bright flag out to help mark out the route.
Look at the number of items which were donated for the Cramlington Foodbank...
The Brainwaves loaded 25 crates of food which Revd Wullie collected from school.
Thank you to everyone who donated food or money...we also presented him with £50 for the Foodbank too!
WEEK 3 WAS BIKE AND SCOOTER WEEK...on Tuesday pupils were invited to bling their bikes or make scooters snazzy!!
Each year group was involved in a bike/hike/scooter/buggy Eastlea enterprise sponsored challenge!
Year 5 and Year 6 biked or hiked to Blyth...
...their reward was a tasty fish and chips lunch from the Coastline restaurant!
Year 3 and Year 4 took walked, biked or scootered around laps of Northburn park.
Year 1 and Year 2 brought their bikes or scooters to ride around the school yard...the rain did not dampen their spirits!
Reception and Nursery had a whole variety of 'wheels' to get around the yard too!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED OUR SPONSORED EVENTS!
Our Brainwaves made 200 bike themed biscuits to sell for a break time treat!
All the proceeds went towards buying a balance bike for Nursery!
